Shooting is my work, but also my main obsession.
I started as a director. Then came the cameras, the lenses and the light. There was no way back. I became a cinematographer too. Today, I do both, and I shoot most of what I direct.
For more than 15 years, I've worked across fiction, commercials, documentaries and music videos.
I care about light, texture, movement, faces, imperfections and accidents. Old glass on new cameras. Film when it feels right. Digital when it makes more sense. Whatever serves the image and the story.
When I'm not shooting, I'm usually still doing something with images. Shooting analogue photography. Repairing vintage lenses. Taking cameras apart, modifying things and putting them back together. Sometimes just to see what happens.
Give me a strong story, good people and an idea that sounds slightly unreasonable. That's usually where things get interesting.
